This event is part of the Great American Smokeout, an American Cancer Society annual event that gives folks a day to start their quit journey or make a plan to.

🌈This educational workshop is for LGBTQ+ people and allies. We will be going over tips and methods to quitting. We also will be answering questions and having dialogue in a peer to peer environment.

✨This is a FREE event with light snacks

This is a judgement free zone and we hope you will feel safe to explore a nicotine free life.

Join us as the amazing yogi MC @mcb_ean (she/her) leads us in a slow flow Hatha yoga session. Hatha yoga focuses on alignment, breath, and gentle movement, making it perfect for beginners. 🌿

Following the yoga practice, Grace (she/her) will lead a discussion on mindfulness and sober curiosity to promote reflection and group dialogue.

We will wrap up the event with meditation led by MC 🌀

Bring a yoga mat or a towel, and an open heart! Light refreshments will be provided. Free street parking available nearby the park. This is a FREE event!

The Collective is thrilled to announce the launch of Space and Grace, our newest event series designed to foster thoughtful dialogue and discussion on sensitive topics in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Our first event centered around exploring Sober Curiosity, will take place on Sunday, February 25th, at Ultreya Coffee and Tea. Attendees can expect chill vibes, meaningful conversations, reflective activities, and non-alcoholic drinks crafted by the wonderful team at Ultreya Coffee.

The first 10 people to arrive will receive a free mocktail/drink voucher!

This is part of an annual event called, ‘The Great American Smokeout’. Which is a day for folks to think about quitting tobacco or make a plan to.

Pumpkin Patch & Painting Meetup

We will meet in front of Goff Family Pumpkin Patch at 12pm (it is inside Liberty Station)

We will pick out pumpkins and take cute photos inside

**it’s free entry inside

If you want a pumpkin, you can purchase one.

We will then walk over the the grassy area by the water to get crafty!

There will be a canopy, tables, some chairs (please bring a folding chair if you have one to spare!), art supplies, and snacks!

*if you did not purchase a pumpkin, there will be coloring sheets and canvas to utilize!

👦Ages 16 plus so we can talk candidly about some topics.

‼️SCHEDULE‼️

☀️5pm- Welcome and mingle

☀️6pm- the Collective will be facilitating a talking circle to hear from community surrounding Nicotine, Alcohol, and Opioids!

☀️7pm- @owlrare will be leading a land acknowledgment, some slow motion flow to open our hips and a sound bath.

☀️8pm- @mariposxhealing will be leading guided movement to take up space, mirroring, and ribbon dancing.

📸we will not be filming the talking circle to make sure folks feel free to share honestly. But we will audio record it all for us to capture data for us to continue to do work that services you all!

Speakeasy: Telling the Stories of Black QTS from the Harlem Renaissance Era (1920’s-1930’s)

✨ALL AGES

We will be learning more about significant arts and literary figures from this period in a beautiful black + queer-owned space. Jazz and blues music will be playing throughout the night and we encourage folx to wear looks that are inspired by the 1920s+30s.

👔Come dressed up in a fit from the 1920s or 30s. Or anything that makes you feel spiffy!

🍽There will be delicious food from the kitchen of @worldbeatcenter
